Wireless Communications Towers

L&A has performed cultural resource consulting services for more than 40 wireless communications towers in Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Maryland and Virginia under our Master Service Agreement (MSA) with Mead & Hunt. The scope of services have included literature reviews, disturbance assessments, Phase I Archaeology Surveys, History/Architecture Surveys and Archaeological Monitoring during construction activities . Each approach is tailored to meet the requirements of the Nationwide Programmatic Agreement for Review of Effects on Historic Properties for Certain Undertakings Approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Advisory Council on Historic Preservation, as well as guidelines published by each State’s Historical Preservation Office.
