LEED IAQ Testing (EQc3.2)

Trenton US Army Reserve Center

US ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS

The Trenton US Army Reserve Center includes a single story building and an unattached garage. L&A was contracted by the Construction Team to perform indoor air quality testing to achieve LEED EQ Credit 3.2, Construction IAQ Management Plan – Before Occupancy. Our facility engineers performed a review of mechanical and architectural drawings, as well as submittals related to textile flooring, to identify sampling locations and confirm parameters necessary to meet credit requirements. L&A collaborated with Project Team to identify and mitigate unique site challenges to ensure carbon monoxide, particulate matter (PM10), formaldehyde and total volatile organic compounds concentrations were at acceptable levels prior to the official testing date. A comprehensive report in a format suitable for direct upload to the USGBC site by the LEED Project Coordinator, was generated within two weeks of completion of testing activities.
