The project involves the widening of Harrisburg Pike (SR 62) to add a center two-way left turn lane from Eakin Road to Brown Road. The project also includes new curb, storm sewers and sidewalks. L&A is responsible for completion of environmental studies in support of the Categorical Exclusion (CE) document. L&A has completed the Level 1 Ecological Survey, Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) Screening and Phase I ESA. L&A also prepared a review of the socio-economic data for the area to support the Environmental Justice (EJ) conclusion that the project would have no disproportionately high or adverse impacts on minority or low-income populations. On-going services include completion of the CE document, scheduled for approval in 2016.
