OHIO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

Access Ohio 2045 is Ohio’s statewide, long-range transportation plan that is updated every 5 years. Given L&A’s past involvement in Access Ohio 2040 and detailed understanding of ODOT processes, the statewide planning team relied upon L&A for local public outreach support. L&A’s transportation planners were responsible for researching and writing the technical white papers for Environmental Assets and Opportunities, Environmental Justice, and Demographics.

L&A played a key supporting role in the public outreach for the plan, attending public workshops and open houses in 8 cities around the state for two rounds of public engagement. During the open houses, L&A was responsible for facilitating the Global Markets alternative future scenario and summarizing the results. L&A tracked and summarized the results of outreach on the final plan.
