ODOT Training: Susan S. Daniels, PE AICP

The Ohio Department of Transportation, Office of Environmental Services (ODOT-OES), provides a one-week training course on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) as implemented by ODOT. The course covers the basis of NEPA and the implementing regulations of the Federal Highway Administration. Guest speakers from ODOT-OES present on specifics topics, such as ecological, permitting, and document preparation. L&A’s Principal and Director of NEPA/Planning Ms. Susan Daniels, PE, AICP is the primary instructor, providing continuity throughout the week and encouraging class discussion on the project management and NEPA documentation implications of each topic. Ms. Daniels has been instructing this course since 2012 and has been selected to continue teaching the course through 2018.
