plan was developed to identify and advise Lawhon & Associates,
Inc. (L&A) workers and subcontractors of health and safety hazards
encountered during sampling of caustic lake water at the a concrete facility.
The scope of work covered by this HASP follows OSHA Regulations (Standards-29
CFR) 1910.120 Hazardous waste operations and emergency response. Activities
on this site include collection of surface and ground water samples,
and handling of the samples contaminated with caustic materials from
the placing of concrete into the lake.
