As
a result of a presentation concerning storm water regulations at an Ohio
Forestry Association meeting in October 2000, L&A has completed
several SWP3s for various lumber mills across Ohio. L&A conducted
site visits of each mill and identified surface water runoff patterns
and the discharge points for the runoff. Additionally, L&A identified
high-risk areas for pollution of storm water. L&A then developed
management practices to prevent pollution from entering into the surface
runoff.
