Practice Leader, Hazardous Building Materials

Mr. Mederer has 11 years of consulting experience and manages L&A’s hazardous building materials practice. He has completed over 750 environmental projects for the public and private sector, such as AHERA surveys, NESHAP demolition and renovation surveys, HUD and OSHA lead-based paint inspections and operations and maintenance (O&M) plans.  Well-versed in the procedures and regulations governing the abatement of asbestos, lead and other hazardous materials, Jordan has additional experience in the preparation of abatement designs and the procurement and qualification of contractor bids.  He is also skilled in oversight, monitoring and clearance of abatement activities and manages our AIHA PAT round proficient phase contrast microscopy laboratory.  Mr. Mederer is an OEPA certified Asbestos Hazard Evaluation Specialist, Asbestos Hazard Abatement Specialist, Asbestos Hazard Project Designer and an Ohio Department of Health certified Lead Risk Assessor.
